The celebration will begin with a cocktail party, cash bar, on Friday, July 27, at The Villa from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The dinner also will be held at The Villa on Saturday, July 28. There will be a cash bar beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner at 6:30 p.m.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hampton Inn & Suites on West State Street in Union Township (1-724-656-0000).
In sending out invitations for the 60th Reunion, we discovered that another classmate has died, Elizabeth Jane Tackett Sherrill.
This is the email we received from her husband:
Hi folks,
Sorry to report that Liz went home to be with the Lord April 2nd 2011. She had been fighting various health problems for the past several years. I know she would have liked to attend this reunion and visit with all of you. Do hope you have an enjoyable get together in July.
