September picnic
The consensus is that the 51st Reunion picnic, held September 6, was a success. And, that there is a good chance one will be held next year.
The attendance tally was:
Graduates: 44
Total: 63
Attending football game: 13 to 15
Those figures could vary either way because some showed up at the picnic without making reservations ahead of time, and others made reservations but didn't attend because of various reasons.
Most seemed to enjoy themselves.
There is talk that next year that instead of the picnic being catered, some committee people may do hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. The menu also may include Coney Island chili, potato and macaroni salads.
Anyway, that's something to look forward to.
