Harriett M. Bunney, 78, formerly of Honea Path, S.C., died Oct. 21, 2013, at Sunnyview Home in Butler, Pa.
Born Nov. 3, 1934, in New Castle, she was a daughter of John and Dorothy Marie Carr Caldwell.
She was preceded in death on March 9, 2008, by her husband of more than 50 years, the Rev. Hubert G. Bunney, whom she married Sept. 19, 1953.
Harriett was an active part of her husband's evangelical ministry as they together spread the Word of God to five Assembly of God churches in Pennsylvania and New York. She also was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie (Randy) Bidwell of Simpsonville, S.C.; three sons, Mark Bunney of Pendleton, S.C., Timothy (Darla) Bunney of North Huntingdon, Pa., and Daniel (Wendy) Bunney of Renfrew, Pa.; one sister, Dorothy Bookamer of Lancaster, Pa.; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Shelly Bunney.
Burial was in Slippery Rock Presbyterian Cemetery.
Harriett was the 63rd classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation. After her name in the Yearbook it reads: "Possesses the rare virtue of being a good listener." Order of Business Efficiency 12
