From New Castle News

Thomas A. DiMuccio, 83, of New Castle, died Dec. 6, 2017, at his residence. 

Born on Feb. 25, 1934, in New Castle, he was a son of the late Ralph A. Sr. and Louise DeCarbo DiMuccio. 

Surviving at home is beloved wife of 31 years, the former Barbara Grant, whom he married on Aug. 16, 1986. 

A graduate of Youngstown State University, Tom retired as a school teacher after working for 38 years. He worked at St. Vitus Catholic School and Tampa Catholic School and retired from the New Castle Area School District. 

He also served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956. 

Tom enjoyed listening to classical music, golfing and reading. 

In addition to his wife, Tom is survived by his children, Ralph DiMuccio of New Castle, Louise McGlathery of Virginia, Joe DiMuccio of Yuma, Arizona, Mary Pasquarello and husband, Joe, of New Castle, Vicki Logan of New Castle, and Mark Moore of Ohio; brother, Michael DiMuccio and wife, Judy, of New Castle; sisters, Madeline Davelli of Hermitage, Patricia Iwanejko and husband, Gerald, of New Wilmington, and Concetta Mayle and husband, Bob, of Hubbard, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Domenick "Chubby" DiMuccio and Ralph "Bo" DiMuccio; grandson, Bernardino "Ben" Pasquarello; and son-in-law, Tom McGlathery. 

Entombment was in Parkside Mausoleum. 

Tom was the 133rd classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation. After his name in the Yearbook, it reads: Student Council Representative 12, Dofobs 10, Auditorium Usher 10-11.
