George Fry

George H. Fry, 83, of Avon, Indiana, died December 29, 2013.
He was born December 23, 1930 in New Castle.
George served in the U.S. Navy and finished school upon his discharge. He was a tool and die maker for Linkbelt. George was a member of the Church by the Side of the Road and Pittsboro Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Durbin Fry; sons, David and Barry Fry; daughter, Tammy Garding; sisters, Ruth Simmons and Edith Vessella; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was buried in Washington Park North Cemetery.
George was the 171st classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation. After his name in the Yearbook it reads: Home Room Representative 12.
