    Beverly A. Houston King, 78, of East Sheridan Avenue, died Friday, May 25, 2012, in Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh.

    Born Feb. 6, 1934, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Howard W. and Helen G. Spiker Houston.

    Beverly devoted a lot of her time to the Class of 52 Reunion Committee. She was the 205th classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation. After her name in the Yearbook it reads: "She looked for fun and found it everywhere." Y-Teens 11-12, Dofobs 11.

    In early years, she was the owner of Montgomery Ward Catalog Center and worked as a bookkeeper for Veltre Tire. Beverly retired from C.J. Long Paving Company where she worked as an office manager.

    She enjoyed gardening and caring for her pets.

    She is survived by one daughter, Beth Ann Witowich and husband, William, of New Brighton; two sons, Robert King and wife, Regene, of New Castle and John King of New Castle; one sister, Darlene Strawhecker of Harlansburg; two grandchildren, Robert King and Isabell King, and her beloved dogs, Lilly and Daisy.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert King.

    Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
