Donna Maciarello Carvella, 81, of New Castle died Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, at Jameson Hospital.
Born on Dec. 8, 1933, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Domenic and Louise Friello Maciarello.
On Nov. 9, 1957, she married Michael Carvella Sr., and the two spent more than 38 years together until he died on Aug. 30, 1996.
Donna retired as a cafeteria worker for the New Castle Area School District in 1993.
An active member of St. Camillus Church, she was a member of the Ladies Guild and a CCD aide at the church.
Donna is survived by her children, Eleanor Rozzi and her husband, Charles, and Valerie Bouye and her husband, Chris, all of New Castle; her sister, Henrietta Zaccarelli of New Castle; and her grandchild, Christopher Bouye.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Carvella Jr.; her twin brother, Donald Maciarello, also a member of the Class of 1952; and a sister, Teresa Trivilino.
Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Donna was the 264th classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation, just after her twin brother.
