Where we traveled

This site was unearthed by pick and shovel at the Greco-Roman ruins at Jerash in Jordan. Once an important city, it fell into ruins because of earthquakes and conquerors.

A scene along the Antrim Road near Corrymeela in Northern Ireland where an  effort was made for Catholics and Protestants to meet and try to make a difference in solving The Troubles in Ireland.
This is the buffer zone between Catholics and Protestants in Belfast. Notice the blocked up windows on each side. This was done so neither side could shoot upon the other. This is tantamount to having Highland Avenue blocked off the same way so the Protestants couldn't fire from the western side of Highland and the Catholics couldn't fire upon the Protestants from the eastern side. Also, notice the armored vehicle. That was the English following a group of journalists. Just a precaution. Everybody was edgy.
