Rosemary Augustine, 71, of 328 Park Ave. died the night of Feb. 28, 2006, in her residence.
Born Sept. 30, 1934, in New Castle, she was a daughter of the late Luciano Palumbo and Margaret Thomas Palumbo Gregg.
She is the 96th classmate to pass on.
She married Joseph D. Augustine on Aug. 6, 1955. He died June 11, 2002.
Rose Mary was a former employee of Liberty Mutual and Columbia Gas.
She enjoyed reading, word puzzles and her grandson.
She was a member of St. Mary Church of Mary, Mother of Hope Parish, and the Christian Mothers of the church.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Audrey Augustine of Edinburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Louis and FloraAnn Palumbo of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Theresa Moses of New Castle; and a grandson, Joseph D. Augustine.
She was the 337th classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation.
After her name in the Yearbook, it says: "A diamond twinkle in her dark eyes."
