Jean Rotelli Cangey, 70, of 511 W. Madison Ave., New Castle, died July 27 in Jameson Hospital.
Born July 5, 1934 in New Castle, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Carmela Sandora Rotelli.
She married Gerald Cangey on Sept. 12, 1955. He survives.
Jean was a homemaker. She was a member of the 37 Club and the Holy Rosary Society of St. Lucy Church of St. Vincent de Paul Parish.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Debra Cangey of New Castle; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Cecelia and Frank Cangey of New Castle, and Joann and Marvin Blair of Nashville, Tenn.; and a granddaughter, Leanne Cangey of New Castle.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Micco.
Jean was the 388th student to walk down the aisle at graduation.

Kenneth P. MacDonald, who gave the opening prayer at the 50th Reunion dinner, died in January of 2005.
His cousin, Catherine Kelley Noring, a 1953 graduate, informed this website of his death, which followed shortly after heart surgery.
Just before the 50th Reunion, eight of the class of 52 made a concerted effort to find 54 classmates whose addresses were not known. Ken was among them. When we caught up to him, he told us that he was a retired Methodist minister living in Cockeysville, Md. His wife had just died the year before.
He is the 88th classmate to be placed on the In Memoriam list.
Ken was the 262nd person to walk down the aisle for his diploma. After his name in the Yearbook, it reads: "A kindlier gentleman treads not the earth."
