Lois Tilton
Klingensmith
dies
(Click here to read more about her in the Cleveland Plain Dealer obit section)

The following was placed in the website's Guest Book by Gretchen Mackey Lowery of Stowe, Ohio:

"Just a note to let you know that Lois Tilton Klingensmith passed away last night, June 9, after a long battle with leukemia.

"She was diagnosed in November 2004. She had some very rough days during that time but also was in remission for much of it.

"We have been friends since we were six years old at Highland School and maintained that friendship into our adult lives. I will miss her so much. (Gretchen's email address is: wlowery@neo.rr.com)"

Lois lived in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

After her name in the Yearbook, it reads: "The play's the thing" -- she does a swell job, too!

She was very busy in high school. These were her activities:
Home Room Representative 10; Auditorium usher 10-11; Student Federalist 10; Y-Teens 11-12; F.T.A. 11-12; Senatus Romanus 11-12; Forensic Play, Squad Leader 11-12; Cheerleader 11-12; "Our Miss Brooks" 12 and "Father of the Bride."

Lois played the lead in "Our Miss Brooks" and also played a leading role in "Father of the Bride."

She was the 438th classmate to walk down the aisle at graduation and the 109th to pass on.
